Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire is a sleepy neighborhood on the island in Montreal known as"the West Island. People aren't sure of the significance of the word and assume it's a separate Island west of Montreal. Actually, it is a part of the West Island includes the entire portion of Lachine up to the west. Amanda Brugel was born there and that's the truth. But she only spent a short period of time there. Brugel lived in Courtice, outside Oshawa, Ontario. Her initial goals were to become an experienced dancer. However, a growth rate meant that she outgrew her dance partner. She admitted in an article published by The Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall and wore heels. Once I outgrew the male partners that I was dancing together, I made the decision to stop. A lot of former dancers go into acting. As in Brugel's case she was urged to do so by the drama teacher at her the high school. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to pursue a role for the school's annual production. The student tried it out, and eventually was chosen to play the main character on the show Anne of Green Gables. It was the Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theatre Program and she graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts degree.
